The St Patrick’s Day celebrations at Walkergate delivered a shamrockin’ good time! To mark the St Patrick’s Day, our ‘Lucky Pot O’Gold Men’ visited the bars and restaurants around Walkergate, stopping for photos, spreading good luck and lots of St Patrick’s Day cheer!
The two lucky charms bestowed their magic upon Slug & Lettuce, Lane 7, Nando’s, Ask Italian, The Bishops Mill, The Champagne Bar by Ebony and Rio Brazilian Steakhouse, before heading to their stomping grounds: Katie O’Brien’s – ale in a day’s work!
The festivities didn’t end there. Katie O’Briens had sports, live music and plenty ice cold Guinness, The Bishops’ Mill had some incredible offers on their range of drinks, beers and wines, and Slug & Lettuce hosted a St Patrick’s Day themed brunch that was to die for!
St Patrick’s Day is an important celebration of Irish culture, and one of Ireland’s patron saints St Patrick. If you have some photos of the day, we’d love to see them! Be sure to tag Walkergate Durham on Instagram (@enjoywalkergate) and Facebook.
