Walkergate’s RIO Brazilian Steakhouse this week proved that the community is alive and well with a gift to Durham’s resident ghost whisperer!
After learning how Andrew Ross, the talented guide behind Walking with the Ghosts of Durham, donated his spare time to help raise £800 for a local homelessness charity recently, Rio Brazilian Steakhouse – Durham decided he deserved a special treat.
Acknowledging Andrew’s efforts, Zal and Lewis from the management team at RIO Brazilian Steakhouse Durham ‘stepped up to the plate’ and gifted Andrew a £100 gift certificate for him to use within their restaurant on Walkergate Durham.
It’s great to see Walkergate Durham’s businesses recognising and rewarding acts of kindness and community service and it’s great to see Andrew keeping Durham’s rich history alive!
