The event of the season is back! Fire & Ice, Durham BID’s ice sculpture trail, returns to Durham this February half term for another year of stunning ice displays.
On Friday 28th February and Saturday 1st March from 10am – 5pm, visitors to the city can scout the streets to uncover a mystery trail of wondrous bespoke ice sculptures, all inspired by this year’s theme: Music!
As a sponsor of this free event, we’re thrilled to have three of the expertly carved ice sculptures situated on Walkergate.
Get stuck into the excitement on Millennium Place, with live ice sculpting demonstrations (each day at 1:00pm, 3:00pm and 5:00pm) and interactive workshops to make it a full day of family fun for everyone!
With plenty of secure, city centre parking and a variety of food and drink venues to please all the family, Walkergate is the ideal start and end point for your Fire & Ice adventure. Ready, steady, sculpt!
