Durham’s ‘top brass’ head to city for 2024 festival

This July, Durham city is set to see the return of Durham Brass Festival and with it the sights, sounds and colours of Summer.

The annual festival celebrates all things brass music, with a vibrant and rich array of spectacular live performances, new commissions, free concerts and community activities taking place across the city – including at Walkergate Durham.

Taking inspiration from the brass band heritage of County Durham, the festival weaves together all musical genres into a vibrant and entertaining festival taking place across the County and the City from July 5th – 13th 2024.

And with an event filled with so much spirit, you’ll need a place to keep the energy level up. Luckily Walkergate is on hand with a range of bars and restaurants to keep you and the family fueled and able to hit all the right notes.

If you are heading to Durham to enjoy Durham Brass 2024, don’t forget to use Walkergate’s onsite Durham City centre parking. Ticketless, safe and secure, you’ll be free to enjoy Brass 2024 without the stresses that come with parking.
