The Comedy Store is back and better than ever this February, so if you’re looking for the best night out in stand-up comedy, look no further than Gala Durham.
With over 35 years of experience in the business and the premiere name in comedy, The Comedy Store has laid the foundation for some of the world’s most renowned comedians: Jimmy Carr, Eddie Izzard, John Bishop, and Sarah Millican to name a few. The Comedy Store’s mission is to provide a platform for the next generation of talented comedians.
February’s line-up has a wide variety of established and emerging professional jokers who will make you laugh until you cry.
The Line-Up
Pete Otway – Your MC for the night, Pete Otway combines his razor sharp-wit and undeniable charm with his genius for creative writing.
Johnny Pelham – One of the most exciting stand-up comedians on the circuit, Johnny has a long line of impressive credits. Over the last few years, he has appeared on Live from the BBC, Mock The Week, Live at the Apollo and Russell Howard’s Stand-up Central.
Sharon Wanjohi – Sharon is an up-and-coming stand-up comedian with a varied act, ranging from shocking to absurd comedy. With two years of experience in the circuit, Sharon is a Chortle Student Comedy Award Finalist and Funny Women Stage Award Finalist. Her credits so far include the Laura Whitmore Breakfast Show and Comedy Central Live.
Matt Price – Matt is known for his extraordinary and outrageous stories inspired from the wilder side of life. Born in Cornwall, Matt brings true warmth and heart to his sketches, as well as audacious laughs in the most unexpected places.
