The Bishops’ Mill in Walkergate Durham, is providing free tea and coffee to the Durham Pointer volunteers during their 2022 season.
Durham Pointers are a group of local volunteers, who love Durham as much as we do! Easy to spot in their bright pink tabards, the volunteer group act as mobile signposts in the city centre; whether you’re looking for Durham Cathedral, a local bus route or somewhere for a spot of lunch, Durham Pointers are present throughout the City from April to December supporting the local visitors and tourists.
The Bishops’ Mill wanted to recognise the work that the Durham Pointer volunteers carry out across the City, and give them something to recharge their batteries so that they’re fuelled and ready to meet and greet the city’s visitors.
Are you visiting Durham and looking for places to eat and drink? You can find a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars here at Walkergate. Or why not spend the day in Durham and find more of the city’s attractions with the help of Durham Pointers.
